Yesterday, at Finovate Spring 2015, we officially announced the launch of our Invest Button—the simplest solution for automating and processing any type of private placement transaction. This includes investments in funds, private equity, debt or any alternative investment making the entire process faster, cheaper and more compliant for Issuers or Intermediaries.
We are honored to be selected by Finovate as a disruptive fintech company and were proud to present our Invest Button to an audience of almost 1,300 in attendance. Here are three main takeaways from the event:
1. Financial technology is growing at a fast pace. There were more than 70 presenters at the event and the number of attendees continues to grow each year. More than a thousand people representing prominent players in banking and financial services, both large and small, were there to see the latest technology presented. Fintech disruption is clearly an important trend in the business world.
2. Security and trust were common themes. We all know technology makes processes faster and easier, but we’re seeing the use of technology to make things safer as well. From increased fraud protection to biometrics to ensuring partner trust, innovative ways to make existing technology even more secure was a hot topic among presenters.
3. Improved infrastructure is being built behind the scenes. Many companies are developing ways to make existing services and technology faster and cheaper by making improvements to the infrastructure that supports them. Oftentimes, these improvements are completely seamless to the end user. But it’s this infrastructure that will launch the next wave of disruptive applications for all of us to use.
We were excited to have the opportunity to showcase the WealthForge Invest Button among the other incredible innovations seen at Finovate this week. With security and compliance at its core, the Invest Button also represents a shift in the way private transactions are processed, changing the way private capital is raised forever.
